Jeff Silbert helps ambitious CEOs and owners radically increase shareholder value by inspiring them to take action in Declaring and Executing a conscious future that is much more exciting and valuable than their current unconscious path.

Jeff brings over 20 years of field proven experience focused on increasing revenue, building brands, forging alliances, and dramatically increasing shareholder value for technology, media, web, and professional service firms.

Amongst a career of highlights, here are a couple of noteworthy examples:

·    Starting in 2003, Jeff led all marketing and business development
efforts at M5 including lead generation, branding, and partnerships. 
Jeff was instrumental in building M5’s national reputation as the market leader in providing Hosted Business Phone Systems with the company winning numerous awards including: Internet Telephony Product of the Year (2007), Deloitte New York Technology Fast 50 (#5 in 2006, #19 in 2007), 2006 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 (#54), 2006 INC 500 (#274), VoIP Magazine Top 20 Companies to Watch (2006), Fierce15 (2005), Internet Telephony Service Provider Awards (2004 & 2005), Frost & Sullivan Entrepreneurial Company Award (2004), and Pulver100 (2003-2007).   For almost two years Jeff also led M5 sales taking it over from the CEO (2004-2005).  Later, as Vice President of Channel and Alliances, Jeff oversaw all partnerships and within this role spearheaded the growth of M5’s partner program which grew from less than 10 partners to more than 100 active partners representing 65% of new revenue.   During Jeff’s tenure at M5 (2003-2009), its recurring revenue increased eight times.

·       As Vice President of uReach (1999-2003), a venture capital backed web and communication service, Jeff made significant contributions to the building of its consumer brand which led to over one million subscribers, the company’s first agreements with service providers that became its primary revenue driver, and defined a new product category and business model for the telecom industry - delivering unified communication software to consumers, businesses and service providers as a hosted service (Software as a Service).

Earlier, Jeff led the development of the consumer software brand strategy for Discovery Channel.  Jeff, who received his MBA from Duke University, and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, began his career at Accenture, as a management consultant.   

As a speaker, Jeff always leads with actionable content that leaves his audiences committed to declaring a more valuable and specific future along with the actions required to make it happen.  Jeff has spoken at a number of events including the INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & Expo, ISPCON, Comptel, Frost & Sullivan’s Sales & Marketing Executive MindXchange, ITEC, New Jersey Growth Showcase, NJ Small Business Conference, SMB Nation and other industry-wide and local events.  Jeff has been a member of Vistage since 2007, has served on a number of advisory boards including as a founding member of the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) Marketing Council, and is a graduate in 2006 of the two year Aji Network’s Business Professional’s Course (BPC).  

Jeff is an active writer on the subject of value creation via his own blog, Order of Magnitude CEOs, as well as a biweekly blog he writes for The New York Enterprise Report.
